The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Steven Friedman, MD, is board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity. The highlights of his orthopaedic education include his experience training and serving as Chief Orthopaedic Resident at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center and his fellowship in Hand Surgery at Syracuse, New York.
Dr. Friedman’s practice currently focuses on conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder, but he continues to treat general orthopaedic conditions and trauma as well. Throughout his career, he has maintained a keen focus on getting to know his patients on a personal level, as it allows him to understand what they are going through and to help them understand the nature of their illness or injury.
Outside of the office, Dr. Friedman enjoys spending time with his family and keeping his own hands fit by playing and writing music for classical guitar. He also enjoys hiking, practicing meditation and martial arts.
